Physical Education

Welcome to Physical Education!

Physical Education is a vital part of your child's education. The goal of physical education is to assist students in developing healthy living habits that will last a lifetime. My goal is to provide a safe, gun, respectful environment in which students feel comfortable participating and practicing the skills they will use for lifetime of health, fun, and fitness!

PE Remote Learning

Hello! I hope this finds you all happy, healthy, and excited for the new remote learning process!

During this time of remote learning, I would like to encourage students and families to remain active and play! Please check out the PE Remote Learning website for some fun ideas. The activities listed are 20-30 minutes in length and are meant to be activity breaks from academics. I encourage students and family members to choose as many or as few activities as you like and give them a try. There are indoor as well as outdoor activities and games. I will be updating the site and adding activities on a weekly basis so check back often!

UPDATE: A site has been added for the OPEN National Field Day! This event will take place on Friday, May 8 and everyone is invited to participate! All events and practice plans are listed on the site for students and families to practice and explore (no fancy equipment needed, all are household items). All events are designed to be done indoors or outdoors. On Friday, May 8 participants (students, families, anyone!) choose at least 4 events to complete and keep score on the Official Scorecard. Then, send me the scorecard through email or through your google classroom page and I will send you a field day completion certificate!

At this time attendance will not be taken for PE and grades are not given for the activites. No need to turn anything in, just be active and HAVE FUN!
