Books & Breakfast is a huge success at Stukey Elementary
Stukey Elementary hosted their second Books & Breakfast in February. Families are invited to sign up to read a teacher-selected book to a class just after breakfast. Afterwards, the parents and caregivers that participated met in the library for coffee, breakfast treats, and a discussion about effective family engagement practices. This event had it all - academics, parent and caregiver voice, community, and coffee! I am excited to see the innovative practices that Stukey is using in the family engagement space.
