My name is Ciera Frankmore and I am so excited to be a Stukey Stinger! This is my sixth year teaching at Stukey! This year is extra special as we have a student teacher joining us! Ms. Taylor Griest is a student in the Teacher Ed program at CU. She will be with us 3 days out of the week through the fall, and then in the spring will be with us full time.
I was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. I attended CSU-Pueblo for my Bachelor's Degree. I was a 5th grade teacher for two years at Corwin International Magnet School, then decided it was time for me to leave Pueblo and try something new. I am loving Northglenn, Thronton, and Denver life! In the spring, I finished my Masters degree at DU in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. In the spring of 2020, I finished my certificate program for my principal license.
I love being active and outdoors! Playing sports, hiking, biking, running... anything outside! I even used to play tennis for the college team at CSU-Pueblo! I am a pretty big sports fan too! My favorite teams are the Colorado Rockies, and the Denver Broncos! I am a big reader. Books are the coolest. I am very into mystery and thriller books. My very favorite books are the Harry Potter series. My favorite picture book is The Dark by Lemony Snicket.
I'm really looking forward another year in thrid grade. There is so much opportunity to learn, and I can't wait to guide learners though it! :)
