Hello! My name is Michele Clasen and this is my second year working at Stukey Elementary. I love working with all the scholars and families; all with unique cultural backgrounds. I received by BA in Human Development and my teaching credential from the University of CA, Davis and my MA in TESOL from Grand Canyon University adding my Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education endorsement. This will be my 24th year of teaching where I have primarily taught 1st and 2nd grades. A few years ago, I transitioned into the role of an ELD teacher. I love the enthusiasm my students bring to the classroom and I enjoy watching their English develop. The students, families, and staff at Stukey are all amazing and I couldn't be happier being a part of this community.
