Hello Stukey Families!
My name is Taylor Lederman and this will be my seventh year as a Learning Specialist in Adams12, but my first year at Stukey and I could not be more excited for all you scholars!
I am originally from the Metro Detroit area and moved out to Colorado after college to start my career! I graduated from Michigan State University in 2014 with my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education with a focus in Special Education and Social Studies. I then received my Master’s in Special Education from Michigan State in 2018.
I have worked with children my whole life, including being a camp counselor and supervisor for 8 years and I was involved with coaching a special education soccer team. In my spare time I love to travel, practice yoga (I am a yoga instructor in Denver), read, hangout with friends, facetime family, watch sports - especially basketball and football, and hike and cuddle with my pup Bella.
I believe that all children can learn; they just need the right tools and I'm ready to give them their toolboxes to be successful, independent, problem solving lifelong learners. Learning should be fun, challenging, exciting, and hands-on. I am here to teach, support, love, and be your child’s biggest cheerleader.
I am excited for the school year and to get to know each and every one of you!
